I heard the Ann Arbor Railroad Southbound through Ann Arbor between 15:00 and 15:10. Sounds like 2373 or 2368 leading, based on the Leslie RS3L horn.

How often does AA work Sundays? Is this one of those "Grain Trains?" I would love to catch one crossing the Huron River someday!

Almost all of the shortline railroads in Michigan go into this thread as there isn't enough in the way of train location sightings to post about. GLC and Grand Elk have their own as there was enough coverage each month on those railroads that we gave them a thread each. LSRC is very rarely posted about, but if you'd like to post their status here more often, great. If it gets enough posters commenting on it, a new thread can get made.

Fair enough, I just want sure why. I have a new run going down 4 mile so anytime I see them I'll be sure to post it.

Ann Arbor tends to work on Sundays only if they absolutely have to. I've heard/seen them on Sunday runs about a half dozen times this year. This most likely was a grain train, as most manifest traffic is moved on the weekdays or Saturday.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Just based on your times, I'd think they dropped off the 10 covered hoppers in Ada, then came back for more at Ann St, combine the trains at Ada and head for Lowell. Raildude's dad mentioned that Ann St yard was full of Kings on Friday.
