A spectacular trio of EMD's are on point of CSX K597-03, hauling 84 empties from AK Steel's facility in Middletown, OH towards the AK Steel facility adjacent to Rougemere Yard in Detroit, MI. Having just rounded the Toledo wye, CSXT GP38-3 #2060, CSXT RDSLUG #2313 and CSXT GP40-2 #6913 crawl under the old C&O bridge at Eckles Road in Livonia, MI.

CSX G672-04 had engine troubles and was stopped just mere miles south of Flint for 15 hours. After receiving a new set of power, the train heads south by Base Line Road in Northville, MI. The 88 loads of grain are bound for Monroe, NC.
