Amtrak 350 had a locomotive on each end as it passed by just now, about an hour late arriving at Pontiac. Probably dropping one off at Pontiac as the spare/355 locomotive for tomorrow. It also had two snack cars still.

That Autorack train just flew by MP 22.5 SB on the Holly at 4:35 with the UP and NS locomotives at speed. Train 280 I presume.

It is CN SD60 #5481! I saw this train at the MTM station, Mt. Clemens around 2:45 p.m. It had a few "Well Car" sets!!!!

Later, southbound train 385 cleared Cass Avenue at 4:28 p.m. It had CN "Class" ET44AC #3000, CN SD75I #5777 and CN C44-9W #2624, 115 cars!!!!

Per ATCS L533 is coming back NB now. Approaching Nolan as of 6:55 PM. Will be followed by a M384 that reportedly has a Warbonnet as one of the engines.

Eb past 205 with 3 units at 0459. For having all the power its a pretty short train. Has been 2 west bounds past 219 in the last few minutes so expect they're waiting by Potterville or something. Also BNSF power, 270, coming out of Cory Yard headed for Battle Creek.

There's an eastbound approaching Cedar. Not sure what the number is but they don't have the signal at Trowbridge.

Also, in a rare ATCS moment (for me anyway), there's consistent coverage from Potterville all the way through E. Lapeer. West Tappan, Tappan, North Haven, and South Haven (MCS) are also all online.

Enjoy it while it lasts!

UPDATE: WB just popped on the screen at Lapeer. Clear through East Flint.

Did anyone happen to see a train on the Mt. Clemens Sub today (Saturday, 12-9-17)? Late this morning I observed an autorack train sitting on the north end of the Sub at Tappan, strung right through the plant and extending at least to the I-94 overpass. About 7:30 this evening, well after dark, in the light from the new signals at the north end of the subdivision, I could see what appeared to be a string of autoracks in about the exact same position as the train I observed earlier, again from the I-94 overpass. I know we have occasional daily autorack unit trains, but to see two different autorack unit trains in the same spot, even 9-10 hours apart is unusual for this area, hence my curiosity as to whether or not I saw the same train twice, or two different trains...?
