Not 100 %, but sounded like northbound out of Cadillac around 0930. I haven't heard them since.

Big train coming from the north, They are recrewing at Marit this AM 41 cars. Should be around 70 cars when they go south. hopefully AARunner can cath them.

Viking Energy is in McBain. :) Merit Energy is indeed the place south of Kalkaska that gets the tank cars.

Oops :oops: You re correct TC Man :lol: I thought of McBain because of the number of cars GP35 said was in the consist. 40-70 car trains between Cadillac and Clare while not common have occurred. A 40 car train north of Cadillac is very rare.

I don't know when those centerbeams slipped past us. I looked at the tracks yesterday and again today. They have about a week or so of rust on them.

Heard them on the north end of Cadillac at 1340. Heard them moving around for the next couple of hours. No chance to see what they brought back into town, I hate it when work interferes with train watching. :lol:

392, 393 and 396 return to Cadillac at 1600 with 51 cars in tow.
