No, further south (and east) than that. This line was cut in half by another railroad . No diamond , just cut.

Riga, south east of Blissfield, on the former DT&I RR (now Indiana & Ohio RR) and the old LS&MS RR Old Road (now Adrian and Blissfield RR).

Come north. This route had been declared redundant after a faster double track was built near by.

We need to go further north. The offending railroad line was constructed in about a year (1922/1923). The railroad started the work but turned it over to contractors.

Agreed, the former Detroit, Delray and Dearborn Railroad along Robert Street in east-west direction in Melvindale where it later split by the DT&I RR Dearborn Branch.

Bingo ! The former D.D.& D. branch. Was made obsolete by the new double track Junction yard branch. Also ran where Greenfield Village is so, railrod1949 is right also, sort of :-).
