New Center is a building in Ann Arbor, it shares it's property with a siding that used to hold the ArTrain. Amtrak regularly uses it to overnight MoW equipment or a private owner can have their car parked there.
Given the choice; I fly Amtrak.

Eastbound was sitting in the siding just west of the depot. Heard something till by westbound but couldn't see what it was. Had 518 on the lead for the eastbound.

If they are testing the Dash 8s for ITCS, does that mean we'll see them on Michigan passenger trains? That'd be cool!

They are not testing ITCS over on this side of the state.....the 500's won't run faster than 79 now....new speed limit put on them after they did the ITCS testing the other week--too much lateral movement on those freight trucks that they ride on....
