Q116 with the CN 2815 leading just went thru Gaines at 2351.
He met M322 at Bancroft around 2345. M323 had CN 2178, CN 2644, and 2979 all elephant style.

Are 322 and 323 new trains on the Flint Sub?

Well I watched the "bizarre" meet last night. 533 came through New Haven pretty quickly at 9:07 with 45 cars, but quickly slowed down on the approach to North Haven because E271 was still getting in the siding. 384 came at 9:36 with CN 2154 & CN 2609 with 127 cars, but was crawling through.

What was weird was that 533 was north of Haven by the time 384 came through. But 384 took a good 10-15 minutes to go through the Main St. crossing at New Haven, and 271 was well in the siding before 384 came by. My guess would be the dispatcher was taking a while to get 384 more track authority to Tappan. Then about 10 minutes after 384 cleared South Haven, (approx. 10 PM), 271 went south very slowly with CN 2521 and 84 autoracks. I felt like the situation could've been handled better, but oh well. :P

Maybe when the line is CTC end to end these meets will go more quickly!

Now a late L533 has arrived at the Junction to spin their power and go north on the Holly Sub with just one car. So now I have no idea what train 384 is following. A real late 382? An extra? I think it came from up the Shoreline Sub.
