At 6:20 pm a SB doublestack train with 5481 leading 2809 went past MP 22.5. A late 116? An early 116? An extra?

SB Train 502 passing MP 22.5 at 8:29 pm with 5726 and 5735, right after Amtrak 352 passed NB.

The lite power from the above doublestack just went NB past MP 22.5 at 9:14 probably to lay over at Pontiac or continue west with 391, which I haven't seen yet tonight.

I'm guessing an extra, since what looked like 116 just went through East Lansing at 22:04.

Lead engine was a cowl, probably 2402.

Another eastbound at 03:53.

Edit - The BNSF train seems to have gone south on the Holly around 05:00

That BNSF Sand Train just went SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:25 am. Not a very long train for three locomotives.

Train 515 with 4926 SB past MP 22.5 at 11:24 pm with a long train where it passed NB Train 950 returning to Pontiac with 4929 running lite.

That Train 451 that Ken reported passing through Detroit just passed MP 22.5 at 12:30 pm. That GP40 trailing looks pretty good in its new paint. Short train.

Didn't have a signal in Pavilion but a long manifest was EB about an hour or so ago. 2 GEs on the head end, including a C44-9WL in CN paint and another two GEs as mid-train helpers, including BCOL 4654. Probably past BC by now.

Re: CN - July 2017─SIGNALS!!!!

Unread post by Robertrains »

The "Signals" are now turned "ON" on the lower part of the Mt. Clemens Subdivision!!!! Yesterday (7-18), I heard (on scanner) the "Dispatcher" talking to train 533. Trains no longer have to stop at Nolan to "Switch" the "Spring Switch!!!!" It is now "Automated" and there is CTC Signals to "Beaubien." Today I went to the new signals that are now turned on at Utica Road, Fraser! They are "Constantly Lit LEDs" and were "Red!" There's a sign next to the signals! Going north it says: "END CTC/ BEGIN TRACK AUTHORITY."
South: "END TRACK AUTHORITY/ BEGIN CTC." Does anyone know how much of the signals are finished on the Mt. Clemens Sub.? :?: I am glad these were installed!!!!
