Per GP30M4216 on 5/17(Wednesday):
1800 hrs: Cadillac - GLC 392 and 395 tied down in the yard. Lots of covered hoppers and tankcars around.

2000 hrs: Petoskey - Northbound road freight heading up the grassy section downtown......ok just kidding. About 11 covered hoppers on the pass track on the south side of town. Anyone know when they might be up this way working next? I'll be at Northern MI College for the next couple days....

Heads up! GOV westbound on the Middleton branch with 2 units including the anniversary unit. About 1 mile until they cross 127. I'll get video. Great timing as I'm headed to Romeo to pick up my new Midnight Edition Silverado LTZ Z71 crew cab. Long empty grain train.

GLC 399 leading GLC 385 and 38 cars north through Mount Pleasant at 12:04p. I observed 5 shiny new Plastics hoppers with a 5-17 build date in the mix for Clare.

GLC 385, 399 back south through mount pleasant at 3:15pm with 13 cars. No cadillac cars today, all cars were from Clare, Ashley, Shepherd, etc.

I have been seeing a few high cube box cars lately. Who, aside from TC, gets these?

TC seems to get these more. Also, just heard them in TC 15 minutes ago. Long day for them if still in TC. Unless someone has a train horn!

Northbound out of Cadillac today around 0900 or so. Believe they also ran north or didn't run at all this past Friday. I saw and heard nothing. :(

I will start keeping track of these Box cars. It appears they come from south of Clare, because they come back south on the same turn, usually between cars from Ashley and the rest of the consist.

There's a bean plant or two in Ithaca that ships an occasional box car of bagged beans.

Thanks for posting, AANR. Looks like there are a few loads of fertilizer for McBain.
