Sorry, been giving all of today's (May 1st) sightings on last month's board. Had a lot today too! Here they are pasted:

What looked like a 515 Local just rolled SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 10:32 with two locomotives today: 4901 and 4916. Not sure if this is a combined 950/515 today or what but didn't see 950 go by yet and the consist of this train looked like a 515. Maybe a long returning train up the Hill this afternoon so two locomotives? We will see.

A local just went back to Pontiac NB at 1:45 pm but I was walking and only heard it. Sounded like a single GP38 on it or at least only one running. So don't know what is going on with the locals today. We will see if another comes back to Pontiac later today.

Train 451 NB past MP 22.5 around 3 pm today. IC 1017 was second unit. First one was a recently repainted narrow nose GE but forgot the number.

Well, the 515 just headed back to Pontiac passing MP 22.5 NB at 3:54 with the same doubleheaded locomotives as this morning and a short train. So if that was 950 I heard going back at 1:45 it had a third locomotive that sounded like a Geep.

At 6:26 pm and Extra Amtrak train just went NB past MP 22.5 on the Holly with a Genesis unit on the head end and Siemens #4611 on the rear end push/pull. This might be that FRA Inspection Train someone mentioned on the Amtrak Update board. Went up to Pontiac right after it went by and it was not at the station. They must have sent it up to Pontiac Yard. Someone said they are going to wye it so the 4611 is trailing again on the trip back to Chicago as it doesn't have the stuff it needs for 110 mph running west of Kalamazoo (it begs the question, why not if it is going to run on this line someday?). Not sure when it goes back to Chicago

Train 391 NB past MP 22.5 at 8:30 pm with six units, two CN (including cowl 2401), two UP and two BNSF.

Amtrak 959 departed from Pontiac at 8pm. They were in town only long enough to wye the train.

502 was by Royal Oak at 10:06pm. CN 8850 and 8019.

GTW 4929 was the additional yard engine in Pontiac.

What I assume to be 391 cleared the detector MP 34.2 northbound at 10:29 PM CN 8895 leading, 144 axels.

Train 348 cleared the same detector at 11:21 PM, 434 axels. CN 2019 leading.

348 and 391 met at Holly.

I am drawing a blank on 348, I don't think it is a re-route off the Mt Clemons Sub, or is it?

Edit because I forgot to add:

348 is picking up 10 cars at Pontiac.

M348 will often detour down the Holly instead of going to Sarnia as it normally does.

Train 950 SB past MP 22.2 at 8:45. Didn't see it, only heard it.

Train 515 SB past MP 22.5 at 10:25 with 4929 today.

Train 451 NB past MP 22.2 at 1 pm with three locomotives.

Train 515 returning to Pontiac at 4 pm past MP 22.5, racing Amtrak 350 up the Hill (and going a bit faster!).

Returning Train 950 with 4901 past MP 22.5 at 4:15 pm.

At 7:45 pm Train 391 flying NB past MP 22.5 with two locomotives and a medium length train with a lot of short sand hoppers again plus a lot of jumbo hoppers too, something not often seen on the Holly.

I turned the scanner on just in time to hear CN 8019 tell the dispatcher that the detector MP 34.2 did not go off. The dispatcher said to continue on to the detector MP 59.9. I believe this to be 391.

Is that supposed to be 382 northbound? Or 383 southbound?

I always screw up the train numbers. I just go off memory since I post what I see and don't listen for mark ups most times.
