Man, I hope those two engines are enough! Gonna have to keep an eye on this one, it wouldn't surprise me if he stalls somewhere.

It looks like one of the Mt Clemens Sub locals just crossed Range Road with 2 loaded centerbeam lumber cars. GP38 leading, I think

Today, 4-2, I went to the MTM station, Mt. Clemens!!!! I photographed southbound train 533 with CN C44-9W #2586 and nine loaded "Well Car" sets, 3:04 p.m. Later, local 524 came with CN painted GTW GP38-2 #4900, reversed ends of four empty "Center Beam" flatcars, headed north after 4 p.m. It will soon meet train 385 at "North Haven" (per scanner at home around 4:45)! I may go get that one on my bike!!!!

EDIT 5:18 P.M. : Train 385 is passing "Haven" heading south with CN 2266 (local 524 is about to head north)

GTW 4934, IC 3117, and IC 6100 were today's Battle Creek yard switchers. NS 2661 and UP 6514 were sitting in the yard.

22:15. Unknown CN westbound at East Lansing. Lead engine was 88?? Second unit was a cowl. This train stopped at Cedar for a pair of eastbounds.

22:24. 116 by East Lansing. CN 2281 & 5687

22:41. 280 by East Lansing.

22:57. Another unknown westbound at East Lansing. CN 8002 2613 2432

Not bad for 45 minutes.

Well turns out a second train was on the heals of 116 tonight. This train cleared the detector at 12:33 AM with 270 axels. I have not picked up any engine or train numbers. I am guessing this was a 280.

Yes, I missed putting that in my post. The second eastbound was all autorack pulled by UP 4761 solo, so definitely looked like a 280.

There was another eastbound that I heard hit the detector at Lansing about 00:40, but did not see.

Have not heard or seen anything else.

Not sure. If it was on the Mount Clemens Sub it could be going up the Holly Sub.
