Thanks much! Now our rosters for the G&W roads, along with the Lake State, should be fully up to date once more.Bulby wrote:Saturnalia, 2026 was repainted in November or December. It was recent.

This unit didn't have the "C" and "&" painted out in early 2013, yet was painted out when the unit went to Indiana Southern®! However, I sure hope it stays in "C&IM Livery!"

Saw a photo of HESR 2107 online today, which is being rebuilt from NS 5029.
It has received a chopped nose and standard control stand. It will be repainted before arriving in Michigan.
Genesee and Wyoming has purchased eight of these former NS units.

The CFE 3885 is now the GR 2104. Yes, it is now orange and has the GRE logo. Just released from the MQT shops in Manistee.

Just a FWIW, didn't see it posted. HESR 2027 is off to MEI, never to return to the HESR. This was the former NECR 3852.
Words of the mouth have that the next engine getting the orange dip on HESR will be the HESR 2028, formerly CMGN 2014. Though, this will not happen this year.
HESRs 2 SD40M-2s are also repainted and renumbered to 3484 and 3485 respectively.

MMRR 2057 (GP38, ex GR 3839) has been temporarily reassigned from the Michigan Shore to Marquette Rail. D700 brought it to GR on 10/11. MQT is power short from what I understand.
