I find that story fascinating. It's a shame he couldn't have gotten a job with the Transit Authority. I'd like to see the documentary below

10 years or so ago the MTA was trying to ban photography as an anti-terrorism measure.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

That guy needs to get involved with an operating museum. Heck I think half our active volunteers at SMRS including myself are all people who were rejected by the goofy railroad hiring practices and just want to run trains.
What smells like lube oil and diesel.... Oh wait it's just my "Locomotive Breath"
