So I heard from a little birdie the other day that this loco will not move any time soon as the FRA inspector has issues with it. Mainly the wheels are square, although this same birdie said they looked fine to him.
What smells like lube oil and diesel.... Oh wait it's just my "Locomotive Breath"

This was the same reason why CSX stuck it where it is after they found out about the wheels and have refused to move it since.

What is wrong with the wheels, they are square?? Is that railroad talk or a joke?

OK, I read from a friend who lives in Lansing that old COE/Mal F7A #725 has been gone for a while!!!! How come we didn't see any "Updates" upon its departure?
Man, I wanted to photograph it leaving MI for the last time!!!! I guess there was no problem moving it!

It's still there. The FRA and CSX mechanical have been looking it the past few weeks. Sounds like the easiest way for it to leave will be on a flatcar.

I was thinking it would still be there until we have "Updates" when it departs! I'll tell that guy from Lansing that COE/Mal F7A #725 is still parked in Lansing!
Why would he think it was gone? My guess when it travels "East"─it will go through CSX Rougemere Yard!!!! I do not want to miss it leaving MI!!!!

Why don't you ask him and report back here?

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

Here's what he said Friday 2-9:"The 725 isn't at Lansing anymore It's been moved for a while" After I told him it still is there─he just said the next day: "Huh, I thought it left" Now, I am guessing he just didn't see it because the "Tank Cars" have been "Blocking" it!!!!

Its because Foamers are the only ones that loose their mind over a regular F unit.
