That gets an A+ in my book. Shows how far behind we really are in the USA. I know the distances are shorter and such, but there is no reason that we cannot be advancing like this.

The title is somewhat misleading. Nederlandse Spoorwegen is only one rail company. Other lesser trains are still burning diesel fuel. NS also buys 50% of the power needed for these trains from foreign countries and its source could be anything other than wind. On a side note, NS has remained profitable due to tax evasion.
