Mysterious light draws thrill seekers to a U.P. forest

Unread post by Michael »

Somewhat railroad related.......

For half a century the Paulding Light, a mysterious light that glows in the forest near Paulding, MI, has been a legend in the Upper Peninsula.
The official legend says the light comes from the swaying lantern held by the ghost of a railroad brakeman

Why not just go to the spot where the lights appear and see what it is rather than stand a long distance away and guess :?
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

When there is no on-coming traffic, and traffic is going the other way, the light appears red. (tail lights)

We've been having some pretty intense Northern lights up here lately.
