Theme - styles

Changing around a few things to test the forum theme standard against spammers. Just an FYI in case anything looks different if you aren't signed in.

Testing more stuff with styles tonight. Likely the chat box, links at the top, and logo will go away for a bit, but I'll get fixing it.

Looking awkward on my end:

Works on the login and logout pages, but nowhere else. Tried deleting all the board cookies, that didn't help. :(

All fixed :D

I like the subtle changes. One needs a change every now and then to keep it fresh. Great job as always Zack! :)

Couple things I noticed:
- I used to be able to tell which threads I had not read yet by the color of the folder. Now everything is the same color and the zipper (or whatever it is) is difficult for me to see.
- Is the chat room purposely separate from the discussion board or is there something I can do to keep them both on the same page like I used too?
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Got the forum icons changed back to how they used to look. Icons on the old format were .gif and new ones are .png, so had to resave the .gifs to .pngs. Should be fixed.

Chat room is available via the link in upper right corner for "chat room" or directly at this link: chat
I do plan to fix it so the chat appears at the bottom of the screen again, will have to wait until later this weekend if I can get it working right.

FYI, main purposes of updating the style version: to prevent spammers from registering. Was getting about 60 spammers a day registering that I had to look through, delete, and try to only activate the legitimate users. So far, they haven't figured out how to register since last night.
Other reason is the board seemed a bit clunky on my cell phone, and so far seems to be running better on it now. Let me know if things look better for those using on smart phones.

Wow. I can actually see the board from my 2+ year old Droid 2 "smart"phone.

Nice job, ~Z~!

Mentioned to my wife that the black banner at the top was bad, and maybe something involving railroad tracks would be better. She went sifting through my shots and pulled this one...set height to 150 pixels, and used it:

Glad to hear the site is looking better for you guys. Zero spammers have registered since the change, and 2 new real users, so looks like that fixed that issue as well.

What the heck...the board just completely changed on me mid-post. This current version looks awful...
