$275,000 a piece. They went through a complete overhaul including electronics upgraded to Evolution Series standards. They are basically brand new.DT&I wrote:How much for the C39-8R's and what was rebuilt on them?

Re: Appalachian Western Railway
Can the newly formed Detroit Southern RR have trackage rights on your former B&O line between Midland City and Cincinnati? We'd be running about 2-4 trains a day over your track to terminate in Cincinnati. We could also interchange at Midland City, if you wish...

Re: Appalachian Western Railway
Trackage rights granted, it's not a busy line so there shouldn't be any problems. When was the Detroit Southern RR formed? I seemed to have missed it.heartlandguy wrote:Can the newly formed Detroit Southern RR have trackage rights on your former B&O line between Midland City and Cincinnati? Re: Appalachian Western Railway
I haven't posted the thread about it yet. It started in February, and the operation starts on April 1st from Flat Rock, MI to Cincinnati, OH.TCtrainguy17 wrote:Trackage rights granted, it's not a busy line so there shouldn't be any problems. Ok, if you're ready, we can send some engines to be repaired up the Security Branch to your Hagerstown Shops. We can send them up tomorrow if you want.

Re: Appalachian Western Railway
Our ex-WM locomotives are at the interchange on the Security Branch. The consist is made of: BL-2s 81 and 82, F7a #230, 236, and 237, F7b #401, GP9 #25, 26, 31, and GP35 #3579. They are in fair condition, but the GP9s need engine work and #230 needs new motors. We want them to remain in WM colors. #401, #31, and #3579 are in Circus, #236 and 237 have te Fireball, and the rest have Speed lettering. Thanks for the help.

Re: Appalachian Western Railway
Press Release- The Appalachian Western Railway (AW) and the Toledo, St. Louis & Chicago Railway (TSCR) have agreed to consolidate under a single parent corporation called Northern Consolidated Transportation (NorCon). Each railroad will be operated as a subsidiary, retaining it's own identity and motive power. But all trackage and motive power is open for use by both railroads. In order to avoid confusion, symbols have been standardized. The main reason is attributed to the major benefit of streamlined operations. This will go into effect at 24:00 tonight.

I forgot, can you put in steam generators in the F-units? WM took them out shortly before selling them to us.
