TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
Well hopefully sometime this winter but with Hurricane Sandy delaying everything we're gonna have to play catch up.

Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
Our crews are scheduled to wrap up double-tracking work up to St. Joseph by the end of November, likely by Thanksgiving. They're not doing work per se, but are standing by during the cut-in in case there are any problems.DT&I wrote:Well hopefully sometime this winter but with Hurricane Sandy delaying everything we're gonna have to play catch up.
We should be able to start some of the prep work at the beginning of December. Then start the major work after Christmas.

Works for us, the third track is planned to have CPL's guarding turnouts and crossovers and be concrete ties with a track speed of 45 MPH.MQT3001 wrote:Our crews are scheduled to wrap up double-tracking work up to St. Joseph by the end of November, likely by Thanksgiving. Ballast will be provided from the company supply, courtesy of Lafarge in Alpena. Turns out they dislike the stuff we use for ballast, so we give them a discounted shipping rate and we get the stone. We'll start shipping that soon, do ou have a place to put it in Stanley?DT&I wrote:Works for us, the third track is planned to have CPL's guarding turnouts and crossovers and be concrete ties with a track speed of 45 MPH.MQT3001 wrote:Our crews are scheduled to wrap up double-tracking work up to St. Joseph by the end of November, likely by Thanksgiving. You can put it in Corduroy St. Yard where there is room. Stanley is pack with PC and TSCR equipment currently.

And MQT road trains!DT&I wrote:You can put it in Corduroy St. Yard where there is room. Stanley is pack with PC and TSCR equipment currently.
I will let you know when those trains are on the way. Stone season is ending at the end of the week for the most part, that'll free up a couple 60-car trainsets that could be used to store the stuff in addition to hauling the stuff.
Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
L321 can always pick some extra stone up from Cecil if we order some, we always have SD70's, SD70MAC's, and ES44AC's on that local anyways as it picks up about 35- 45 loads every two days.

Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
We have an Ex-IC SD70 and Ex-IC SD40-2 up there that will pick a rail train up once you start making the payments, we need to be sure we have money to pay for this before it happens, Q222's counterpart(whatever that is, I can't think of it off hand) or a TSCR/AW intermodal will pick those two up and take them to Pittsburgh where we will get brand new rail from Carnagie Steel there. They will come back as K000. K000 will run both ways and make many trips to pick up however much rail is needed for the project. K001 will come off the CSX in Columbus and have ties and spikes and will also be tied down in Corduroy St. Yard. K002 will run from North Baltimore Yard to Corduroy St. Yard and have fully assembled CPL's on DTTX 89 Ft. flats and will run with two U23B's(Ex-GR&P). And MQT will provide the stone.
Starting January 2nd, 2013, TSCR crews will begin clearing away brush and trees along the ROW to make way for a 3rd track. This hopefully being done by the end of the month will provide us time to get a ballast train up there to dump new ballast by February 1st. Once that is done, preferably by February 20th, we can procede to get work crews up there to start laying ties and rails. Last by March 31st we hope to get signals, signs, and crossings back up and reopen track 1. Track 1 will be closed for the duration of the construction so equipment can be stored and used to complete the project. All trains will use the western half or track 2 until construction is complete.

The payment will be faxed in the morning. MQT can provide crews and machinery also...they've been doing this sort of stuff since MarchDT&I wrote:We have an Ex-IC SD70 and Ex-IC SD40-2 up there that will pick a rail train up once you start making the payments, we need to be sure we have money to pay for this before it happens, Q222's counterpart(whatever that is, I can't think of it off hand) or a TSCR/AW intermodal will pick those two up and take them to Pittsburgh where we will get brand new rail from Carnagie Steel there. Ok send the payments to this number: 419-009-7583. Our department of relations(Not to be confused with our department of public relations) will get it taken care of. Also we have been doing this all summer in Central Ohio with PC too but more equipment means less time to complete so you are welcome to supply them.

Okedokee. The equipment will come in the form of two trains, and will be parked on a siding just north of the MI/OH border. Probably leaving the Benton Harbor yard tomorrow, and crew locomotive availability permit.DT&I wrote:Ok send the payments to this number: 419-009-7583. Looks like a crew for the first train will be called at 9:00 EDT tomorrow. Who knows when the next one will be called...we've got to find locomotives for it first

Who owns the real-life CSX between your end-of-track and the MI/OH border?DT&I wrote:Its not finished(not even close) but Toledo is so check that out.

Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
You buy it. We'd prefer not to own only a little bit of track in Ohio because it's another state to deal with legallyDT&I wrote:The City of Toledo but Im sure they'd let you buy it.MQT3001 wrote:Who owns the real-life CSX between your end-of-track and the MI/OH border?DT&I wrote:Its not finished(not even close) but Toledo is so check that out.

It's the line north and then takes the right....
Re: TO ALL RAILROADS THAT USE THE TBR(TSCR)
The one out of Lang? The DTSL is owned by the TSCR to Detroit but the CSX line in real life next to the AA yard in between the end of the TBR and the MI/OH border is the city of Toledo.
