CSX Train Location Update 8-9-12

Q335 arrived at Wyoming Yard prior to 0600 this morning.
D707 was eastbound at Fox at 0615.
Q326 eastbound at Grandville at 0622.

Heard E94907 talking to the dispatcher around 10:15am, so they should be coming south then west through Holland soon. D70009 was working Holland as of that time as well.

Z151 has their EC1 to come south from Turner St. Okay at 2100. GLLX 3002 leading.

Marquette rail was sitting just north of the Vans Switch at 20:35 EDT. I heard them SB about an hour before that at North Park street, so they're probably done switching Vans. GLLX 3002 leading

Long train, they were just about 20 yards from the Vans Switch and the rear of the train was still activating the North Park St crossing.

Also, it looks like Lameroux Street is next. They have signs posted.

Lameroux is closing on Monday (if West River is back open) due to sanitary sewer work west of the crossing. Later the following week, the RR and the Rood Commission are going to work on some semi-permanent repairs to the crossing but it won't get a West River type reconstruct until 2013. The West River reconstruct was scheduled for later this year but they had a 5 foot piece of the head break out Sunday night. They are taking the super-elevation out of the crossing which will allow the Road Commission to do some milling and paving and take some of the "ski-jump" out of the crossing.

I just got home from St. Joseph, after seeing Amtrak.
P370-09 departed St. Joseph at 10pm, with AMTK 84 leading, the 2 amfleets and 2 horizon cars, and the one and only (thank god!) AMTK 90413.
