Paper Railroads Timeline Change
Okay, everybody blame DT&I for this one.......
A yes vote would change the senario quite a bit. The proposal is to change many of the other railroads we don't control back to earlier times, before some of the major mergers. The following is a list of changes:
1. BNSF is split to what it was pre-1995 merger. ATSF & BN would then exsist as they did right before the merger. (ATSF would still own the "Inside Gateway" in California)
2. UP is split to what it was pre-merger (1998?). UP & SP would then exsist. SP is what it was right before the merger, and UP is everything else that now makes up UP...
3. CSX is split to what it was pre-merger. B&O, C&O, and Seaboard would exsist as they did right before the merger.
4. NS is split to what it was pre-merger. N&W & Southern would exsist as they did right before the merger.
5. Conrail is back! It would be as it was right before the split.
All trackage currently owned by our paper railroads are exempt from change. The Conrail thread is to see what is isolated by not being connected because of the PC. Those would either be swallowed up by PC or would become independant (I might be interested in one or two if need be )
Poll is a 4-day poll. Simple majority rules.
If I got something wrong or you have a concern please comment! We can modify the resolution.

Re: Paper Railroads Timeline Change
I think this is just getting a little too far fetched... So I voted nay.

Re: Paper Railroads Timeline Change
We need someone to be the official person for running the official stuff. I've been doing it by choice, but then that person could get the deciding vote if a poll comes up as a tie.....
anyone else up for a vote? Everyone would be running....I'll set it up if you guys think it's a good idea

Re: Paper Railroads Timeline Change
I suspect someone has something MQT wants so he is trying to trick you guys into giving it up. MQT is always scheming But knowing MQT when he doesn't get it this way he'll just change the rules and take it from you
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

As the "elder" statesman of this group, I volunteer to be in charge of the "official paper railroad" business stuff if no one else wants to do it.

Well then, perhaps I can be the one who casts the deciding vote on things instead....MQT3001 wrote:I'd like to do it....I like doing it (especially since the board get boring after reading anything without the chatbox )conrailman75 wrote:As the "elder" statesman of this group, I volunteer to be in charge of the "official paper railroad" business stuff if no one else wants to do it.
Been thinking about the going back in time thing and wondering what a 1976 version of PC would look like

Re: Paper Railroads Timeline Change
I don't think Zack really cares
Anyway, only 8 of the 11 people in this group have voted... So it's in their hands now, assuming they vote before the end. Although if they don't vote, it looks like things will stay as they are.
