MQTX Locomotive Sale

Unread post by Saturnalia »

MQTX wants to dump 10 C40-8Ws, all ex ATSF/BNSF. All are operable, and still in ATSF warbonnet paint.

Price is $40,000 per unit or $300,000 for all 10 or Best Offer....

I think LLCX is interested to rebuild them and change some things. We'll pay the full 300,000 for them.

Honestly IDK. They follow whatever CSXT uses in real life to get from Plymouth to Stanley.....IDK where the line between TSCR & MQT is either.

Fill in the blanks:
I own ______ Subdivision(s) from Plymouth south to ________ in order to reach TSCR at Stanley. The property line is ___.

What do you want with my Locomotive Roster I haven't updated since I posted it?

NVM you connect with me from the west at Delray. We have a North South line through there, and we need yo use run through power for your trains.

All our trains will come south, drop off a train, then pick up a train and head north. Crew Change point is Plymouth, so as long as you guys don't screw us we should be able to do that with 1 crew. If need be, we can send lite power NB/SB....

PS: I updated the roster, placing it in my first post in my thread :D

I'll get the chief dispatcher to pass on a note to the second shift dispatcher to have one of our westbound freights out of Pittsburgh pick them up and drop them off at Lima tonight.

The units won't but to Stanley until at least 6:00 EDT 7/17/12. Wyoming YM is just getting them out of 35 track in Wyoming.....M607 called at 18:00, so will be EB around 20:00 if all goes well. Crew Change at Plymouth at 1:00 EDT or so...

duly noted MQT, I will make sure that whenever they arrive at Dunkirk tomorrow morning that the next westbound freight thru there will pick them up and relay them to Lima.
