Well we do a higher quality job due to having EMD and GE employees at work here.

We do too

We have tons of parts and the rights to EMD parts manufacturing (you & I chatted about that a few months ago). You must get your EMD parts from EMD if you can recall that. That allows us to cut corners and save our customers money.

Well you guys have the rebuilds but AW has a trick up it's sleeve. A soon to be released announcement by Eastern Locomotive Leasing.
DT&I is the C42-7W an upgraded C30-7?

I presume the C39-9W is an upgraded C39-8? If so what do you do it? We are looking for something for our C39-8's as an alternative to a rebuild by GE.

Upgrades:
Safer "W" cab
108,680 LBF
Longer Lifetime
Tier 4 standards
Larger Fuel Capacity
Replaces GE 7FDL16 with GEVO16
Added 20,000 LBS for more tractive effort.
Replaces "DC" traction motors with GE 755AC Traction Motors for better performance on heavier loads.

So it's an AC traction locomotive? What is the horsepower? You do realize the GEVO-16 is rated at 6250hp right? It's what CSX rebuilt their AC6000CW's with. The GEVO-12 replaced the 7FDL16, they reduced the number of cylinders.

Yes but we can change how many cylinders function. Basically its a GEVO-12 with 4 extra cylinders for emergencies. But then again doing all the work to make a GEVO-16 fit is too costly, probably using a GEVO-12 is best.

65,000 a piece. A good deal for a pretty much good as new loco. And BTW I'll have a pic up here in a couple minutes so you can see what they look like.

Uh we have the same if not better quality than you at a lower price. Marquette Doesn't need to make money off it, so we can charge bottom-basemeent prices. Basically, the upgrades' price pays for parts & labor, and that it. Most of our mechanics are veterans, and our program was built to employ as many veterans as possible. Several of our mechanics have 30+ years of experiance, and can tell what's wrong just by the way the darm thing vibrates!
