The North Bore of the old DET tunnel will be yours once the new connection is completed.

Cool. Is there an estimated time when the new bridge is complete?

Not yet, but we plan to expand in Canada with the new commuter system and all.

Well, the tracks out of Windsor to Essex aren't mine, but I, and eventually CP, will own them from Essex to Tilbury, ont.

Well that works out well, we'll purchase the Windsor-Essex line. This gives us access to Windsor from Amherstburg and Detroit for the commuter system.

Commuter routes are still in the process of being made. They have been being determined over the past few days.

The DR&EC is also planning on buying the Windsor-Essex line, which allows us to further expand into Canada and will allow us more commuter lines.

Here is the proposed Windsor-Essex line. MQT, let me know if there's any interferences or problems.

Assuming there's no problems with Marquette or CP, here is the completed map showing all track owned by the DR&EC in Canada.

all good except trackage ownership for you would end (on the line you drew) at the Thomas Street Crossing. For there you can have trackage rights on what will be CP trackage to the station. Just don't foul the main, and soon to be mains for too long

MQT/CP and you are going to for a massive triangle

Anyway, CP's new tracks will be crossing your southbound main via an overpass (CP over DR&EC). This overpass will be part of the River birdge. No worries for you, we'll just need to co-ordinate what times we can do the work, but that's at least a few months off

Ok sounds good. No problem on the Thomas st crossing. I wasn't sure where our line would end so it's no big deal. We won't have a ton of trains going there, but a few. If needed, we'd be willing to fund for a second track if it means smoother running and fewer delays.

That particular area will have 3 tracks once the renovation is complete. Any additional funds would be nice.

We have plenty of patience. The commuter system won't be starting for a while :) Heck, we still need to start buying cars. Were not sure from where, but we need to start :P

Buy them from the place in Rochelle, IL, can't remember its name but they build passenger cars there.

Ahh yes, Nippon Sharyo. We were looking more for single level cars (with double for busy lines). After looking at their product listing, I was unaware that they made single levels. We're going to look into buying from them.

13 P40's and 5 F40PH's have been purchased from Amtrak. All are currently stored at Bear, Delaware and will be shipped to the DR&EC once the paperwork has been signed.

We are also looking into buying cars from Nippon Sharyo, including single level coaches and cabs, much like the ones in use on MARC, as well as Bi-Level coaches and cabs, much like the ones in use on Metra.

The paperwork has been signed, and the locomotives are ours. They should arrive at the Brownstown shops by Sunday.

Also, two routes have been deleted from the list. The Amherstburg-Sandwich-Detroit train and return trip have been removed. Instead, people wanting to go from Amherstburg (or Sandwich) to Detroit can take T450 to Windsor, then T445 to Detroit.
