DTCX/DTIX Leasing Co.

If any of your railroads need to lease power look no further! DTCX is a privately owned division of DT&C Rail Systems formed in 2011 but the idea was never followed through with until now. We have a wide variety of power from 6 axle and 4 axle road switchers and also yard switchers. All units derailed while on lease must be paid for within 50 days by the leasee.

DTIX is a new venture by DTC Inc. to lease rail cars for shuttle trains. Coal, ethanol, and grain are our main focus.
We have a current roster of:
DTIX 1000 - 1140 - smooth side 4 bay grain hoppers
DTIX 6000 - 6100 - 26,000 gallon tank cars
DTIX 6400 - 6170 - Bethgon Coalporters

Hmmm....I mentioned starting something like this about a week ago, and DT&I suddenly started one.....I wonder how he came up with the idea :roll:

I've been REALLY busy with school, but have been busy preparing to launch the MQTX thread (I was going to do it tomorrow).....hey, I actually bought all the ower from this senario....where did your's come from DT&I?????

I was going to re-name CP Annoyance to CP North Michigan City, but, maybe CP DOUBLE Annoyance is better suited :roll: :twisted: :mrgreen:

Actually I missed when you talked about this, I've been wanting to start this for awhile since about March. It started a TXSL and grew to DTCX. But I'll choose CP North Michigan City lol.

I also thought about leasing locomotives to others, but I decided not to for some reason. This was of course back in the GR&P and OC&M days.

It comes installed with an electrical parking brake and a dead mans emergency brake, plus its not geared for over 40 MPH.

Its funny you guys mentioned the crazy 8's, yesterday was the 11 year anniversary of the CSX runaway train on the Toledo Branch :wink:

DTCX 8888 was just leased to the ICE for use on ethanol trains(switching).
