We are now looking into Getting rail business back in Ypsilanti. We are looking at Michigan latter company, The frog island brewery, the corner brewery, and marsh playing co as potential customers. The service would be run through the Ann Arbor RR with trackage rights over the MI line. Just studying this currently ( we do have the branch to ypsi for Pittsfield junction)

Another great day of track laying, up to 49 miles now. We will also be redoing many bad grade crossings over the nex 2 weeks so we will have a modified schedule for freight trains released soon. Our goal is to do 3 grade crossings a day and har them reopened to traffic fast.

What ever happened to patching in? Our signal crews aren't ready yet to even light up signals let alone wire everything back to dispatch in Wyoming! They will need a week, lets try patch-in next Sunday @ 0:00 EDT. You business train is fine, will be dark territory though.

You own the new line right?

Slow down...the switch on our end dons't even have propane in the tank yet...

sorry MQT, I tend to leave out the boring parts (kind of let you guy assume that they happen  ) also I'm not exactly sure what a patch-in is, I've been doing about 3 miles of track a day for the last month or so. I just assumed you had done the one siginal you have ( ) and we installed the switch. Yes it is my line, but I need to respect the rights that I have over your line. Anyway just give me a time line and when I can start to run trains.

A patch-in is where new equipement is put into the system (in this case changing the program so that signal acknoledges that block down your line (ABS signal), and the dispatcher's screen will show that switch as active, the signal aspect, ect. This patch-in will also mean a new official timetable, so the old rules will cease and the new oes will go into place at whatever time that is. Our ABS singnal neews to be hooked up to your system as well. The signal crews were busy doing maintanance on the GR sub because the last month they all have been dealing with the Porter-M. City block.

Patch-in: Next Sunday, 0:00 EDT. Prior to that all trains must manually throw the switch, and get a track warrant from dispatch. 3 hour advance notice for trains travelling through there. Gonna take time because our computer won't recognize that line. Think of it creating a train out of nowhere
