HOLY CRAP D700 made it out with one whole boxcar! The next question, will they make it back? Oh and the last D707 based in Wyoming is out and about...or should be anyway. Next week they run from Lansing.

Plymouth Station Guy Please do not poke at the ramp agent because he has the power to make your vacation memorable or miserable. It all depends on what flight you bags go on.
Van's this morning had no cars on the spur, but we ended up behind a Vans semi going up the hill over the GRE. They were going sooooooo slow Vans this afternoon has 2 bulkhead flats and one, maybe two, boxcars.
Saw Y121 in Hamilton around 1:50pm. Brought 14 CH and tankers and took back about that many. I've never seen over 20 cars in Hamilton. Why so much traffic. Always know that the CH have been going to Hamilton but about 6 black tankers too. What is this addional traffic? Great to see Hamilton busy
The black tankers are probably liquid fertilizer. Most likely 34% nitrogen analysis. It is in high demand by farmers in the spring during planting season, which is right now. I hauled a few semi loads from the Caledonia Farmers facility on Eaton Hwy near Lake O to my uncles farm near Woodbury on Tuesday. They had just gotten six rail cars (black tankers) of it and that's what was in them. The rail cars in Lake-O came from North Carolina.
