If you wanted to, you could deliver the DR&EC's engines to Jackson, MI. If not, then they can still be taken to Toledo by DT&I's railroads, where we will pick them up from there. Just though I'd offer, because I think I remember the PC having tracks to Jackson, where we have a yard.

Deal, I'll route them up the Waterloo Branch out of Ft. Wayne and deliver them to you in Jackson then. Based on the fact I have to gather everything up from around the system, don't expect them until Sunday or Monday

Transfer was delayed until 19:00 due to an emergancy application by a CP train (tresspasser on the tracks, got hit, not killed), but all of the SD40s and C425s were picked up. They won't be added to the MQT roster until tomorrow however.

RBBX Circus train running on Penn Central today from Columbus to Fairborn as symbol CIR-501. Power is a pair of the rebuilt C636E's, 6338 and 6342. Train will leave the coach cars in Springfield, to be stored in the ex IORY yard(now DT&C's territory IIRC), and the flatcars will be taken to Fairborn and stored on the old industrial sidings for the former Southwest Portland Cement plant downtown. Circus is going to be at the Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University Apr. 26-28.

Yes it is 8888, but we should be wary of any units where all the digets are the same

Re: My version of Penn Central

Today Penn Central signed a haulage agreement with the Appalachian Lines System, allowing PC's traffic to traverse the Virginia & Ohio(V&O), Allegheny Midland(AM), and Virginia Midland to reach deep into Virginia and give CSX a run for its money. Traffic will be interchanged daily with the V&O at their West Carrollton yard. PC owner Chris Howe and V&O president Allen McClelland said that this deal, which also allows Appalachian Lines system traffic to reach deeper into the Midwest via a reciprical haulage rights with Penn Central, will help them continue to compete for business with CSX and NS down in the West Virginia and Virginia area. Plus the agreement will allow, per HPH rules, for PC power to run through onto the Appalachian Lines and their power to run through onto PC.

PC is also in talks with the Dayton Duluth &Western about a haulage rights agreement as well to help them reach up into the upper Midwest. DD&W president Bob Fink would only confirm that talks were taking place when asked for a comment. Will update as the negotiations progress.
