Question

Unread post by legostudios34 »

No one has a paper railroad that runs all the way down to Georgia, do they? I'm wondering about interchange for the High Point and Rome.

No, we all have fictional lines that run all over the Midwest, mainly Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. I can do some digging thru all the railroad histories I created back when I was in high school and see if any of them ran down to Georgia. I know I did one in the Atlanta, GA area, but not sure about anywhere else.

Do they run north from there? Maybe have a connection to Jacksonville? If so, I'll see if the High Point and Rome has the money to build a line on the old CSX right of way to there. Turn Rails to Trails into Trails to Rails :P

We have trackage rights with NS, so maybe. We may wanna get some more locomotives before sending them to Memphis and farther out though. I may give EMD a call in a little bit... (SD70ACes, anyone?)

You could expand your railroad eventually, by buying a line or building a line, and you could eventually connect with our lines.

High Point and Rome is not becoming a huge road, LOL. I like working a small area that runs through where I live. Thats why I'm asking about trackage rights and stuff.
