The AA can have trackage rights. The only reason why is that I want to double track the GR&P between the new intermodal yard and Pitt since there are some new trains to and from Chicago. Adding double track should ease a little congestion in Durand.

alright we will have them washed and patched by tuesday. they will be patched in the same manner as the GP35's we sent to you. we are aming for a drop off of 0800 tuesday morning

We will pay you extra if you repaint them into MQT colors...our shop is swamped currently, and we won't be able to get to them for probably a year or more. If you can do that, we can wait another week or so. How does Wednesday the 25th sound? Also, even if you are just going to patch, we'd like them in the series 2047-2054.

the distance will be 61 miles for the new route. I plan on seeking trackage rights over the MQT to Mackinaw City where we will have the second terminal, the first being in Toledo. total distiance will be around 330 miles

We have reach an agreement with NS and Triple Crown to make it a Triple Crown service. The majority of the train will be a triple crown with some TOFC traffic on the train as well. If all goes as planed we will have Facilites capiable of loading Triple Crown and TOFC's in Toledo, and Mackinaw.

The service will be a non-stop 65 mph train with the highest priority on the Railroad. the time table will list the train as train TM-Q1 and MT-Q1 both will leave there terminals at 0500 and arrive at there end terminal at 1030.

More research is to be done, but this is what we got so far

we have cancle the contract with triple crown and our new train from Toledo to Mackinaw will be a TOFC train. we will start construction North from Grayling on the 24th. the ROW has been aligned and we will begin leveling it first. hopefully progress will be quick for my crews as we would like to have the line finished well before the start of fall. total distance that needs to be laid is 60 miles plus one 7000 foot passing siding (edited) we will also buy 140 flat cars to be used in this service
Image

trains will start at 50 cars and can be made larger or smaller if needed.

3,000 ft? Thats good for no more than 40 cars  Fox is 7,000, and it barely fits a 130 car coal drag. I recommend 1 siding per 25 miles or so, with at least two of the three in excess of 7,000ft.

A heads up for any trains you plan on putting on the Mackinac Sub, there is a ban on six-axle units. 4 axles max....just a heads up...
