I think we should leave the CN line alone so we have someone to interchange with.....at this point, there would be no more aquisitions...building maybe.... 8)

Hmm... If you just leave me owning Detroit-Jackson and Detroit-Port Huron I'd vote yes. Actually, I'll also take the line from Jackson to Lansing I guess... I don't need that line going way west or the others going north.

I'd love to have the GDLK and INER, and unless anyone else wants it, I can take the Kalamazoo to Jackson since Michigan Railfan doesn't want it. But like I said, if anyone else wants it I don't mind.

My fictional Penn Central owns lines that aren't shown on your map :) I retained a bunch of lines that got abandoned in real life:

GR&I Branch thru Sturgis and Kalamazoo all the way to Grand Rapids

Litchfield Branch from Jonesville to Litchfield

North Adams Branch Hillsdale to North Adams

Old Road Branch Hillsdale to White Pigeon

Old Road Branch Hillsdale to Osseo

Grand Rapids Branch Grand Rapids to Rives Jct(then trackage rights to Jackson)

Kalamazoo Branch Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids

South Haven Branch Kalamazoo to South Haven

Elkhart Branch Wasepi(on GR&I) to Jackson

Northern Branch Jackson down to MI/OH state line(branch goes all the way to Ansonia, OH)

Waterloo Branch Jackson to MI/IN state line(continues all the way to Ft. Wayne, IN)

Sometime I'll have to post my fictional Penn Central's routes on here...

You should create a thread! The TSCR always accepts new partners!

Well that means we control most of the crossings between CSX,NS, BNSF, KCS,UP,CN, and CP! LOL Thank you heritage! 1909 was a good year to start  .

Dang it, why couldn't I have had the GR&P start operations in 1900?

Lol the TSCR was one of the few that made it though the century of mergers and buyouts so it would have been tougher once you got to the 1970's. We almost lost our line to the GTW in the 70's. Good thing we didnt right?

Ahhh..not what I meant. it's actually the line that was built first, not the railroad in the longest string without buyouts. I was asking for simplicity....
