It had a hard time pulling, but trust me, it made it to Saginaw. Almost considered adding a GP35 on the train, but figured I would leave that for S111. This is actually why S140 had 7 engines, because we are a little short on power in the thumb area.

just for comparison, we stuck two SD70ACes on the point

The GR&P is going to try to haul these trains with at least two engines, although, if one is available, one SD70AC or ES44AC might be used. On a separate note, GR&P is leasing 10 HLCX engines.

Crossings have been finished up on the Ottawa Lake-Hillsdale section of the line. S151 is leaving Adrian for Toledo. A new train, S152, is leaving Toledo for Hillsdale. S151 has a single GP35 leading, and S152 has a SD70AC and a SD50 with 38 cars.

There is a new intermodal terminal in Durand which the GR&P will have some trains originating/terminating at. Construction has begun, and it will be finished sometime in May. The yard at the terminal will be about a mile and a half long, with 10 tracks, not including 3 tracks for loading/unloading. It will be located between Lansing Road and Goodall Road on the north side of Durand, along GR&P's Durand-Saginaw mainline. Although the construction has just begun, I have added the new trains on the list early for when they start running.

Its true. MMRR has handled loaded unti grain trains into Saginaw (Paines) with a single GP9. I have heard the grade is down hill from Alma otherwise it would not be possible.

No need to hurry these 3 were the last of a 27 train line so you should have about 30 minutes before the next train.

S127 is waiting for some TSCR trains to pass at Tontogany. Tomorrow morning will be busy on the line between Toledo and Deshler. Looks like 6 trains are scheduled to be passing that section of track in about two hours, probably between 9:00 and 11:00.

We'll be sure to get your trains through as quick as possible but it looks like CSX has Q512 and Q507 to rub as well, for that time we hav 19 trains between 9:00 and 11:00 to run but we'll take turns unless one line gets more backed up. Also the diamond here needs replaced and the TSCR/CSX/GR&P are going to jointly pay for it so the price will be smaller.

Once the line to Chicago is finished, anyone can have trackage rights over the line if they want them. There will be enough room on the line, since it is double tracked. The line will be finished soon, the GR&P is trying to get the line finished as soon as possible. The INER and MS tracks are almost finished being fixed and upgraded, and the new track has reached Edwardsburg, and diamonds are being layed at the CN South Bend Sub. I'm thinking that trains will be running by later in the month.

S100 is in Durand right now with a SD40-2 and a SD50 and 61 cars. Two BNSF Dash 9's are currently in Montrose with 130 cars going north to Essexville. There is also a grain train in Saginaw from Breckenridge waiting for the coal train to get out of the way. It has two ES44AC's and 87 cars, and is bound for Cincinnati.

There is a northbound grain train going through Deshler bound for Breckenridge. It might have stop in Tontogany for a TSCR train, but it's possible the TSCR will be passed by the time GR&P gets there.

Its looking clear for now, but the TBR is backed up so it'll probably have to wait in Perrysburg.
