JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — To celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the CSX Corporation creation in 1980, CSX plans to honor many of the railroads that make up the present day CSX system. As Union Pacific did a half-decade ago and Norfolk Southern started recently, CSX plans to create a fleet of heritage locomotives totaling 15 units honoring a wide variety of predecessor roads.
The locomotives will be ES44ACs from an upcoming order from GE. The railroad's Huntingtion, W Va., shop will paint eight, while the Waycross, Ga., shop will handle seven heritage units.

Chesepeake & Ohio

Atlanta & West Point
Atlantic Coast Line
Louisville & Nashville
Durham & Southern
Georgia Railroad
Western Railway of Alabama
Clinchfield
Monongahela
Like NS, CSX plans to recreate the paint schemes as accurately as possible. By contrast, UP used the old railroads' logos and colors, but created new interpretations on the old liveries.

I basically just copied the NS press release
Re: CSX Heritage Units
This will actually help me... I now have a nice list for my CSX heritage units drawings posting the finished ones in paper RRs. So far I have C&O, Chessie System, and seaboard system done
