RR line through Mesick MI

Nice steam era photo that is supposed to be near Mesick.

Am I right that it would be AA or did the PM come up through that area as well?

This photo depicts the then new (c. 1935) highway overpass of the Ann Arbor mainline.

The Ann Arbor was the only railroad passing through Mesick. The Manistee and North Eastern branch line that ran to Grayling passed through (or created) Glengary just north of Mesick

It does look like the bridge and the paint on the engine is similar to a Ann Arbor RR engine, but this appears to be one of the Wabash engines leased by Ann Arbor RR - its missing the white edge on the walkway that Ann Arbor engines carried to indicated they where equipped for passenger service.
