I was wondering what was the biggest one they ever made? I know shay weren't as popular so I'm thinking they didn't get half as big as the other steam engines.

The biggest shay ever built was WM #6, now on the Cass Scenic Railway.

Certainly bigger than the one on display in Cadillac.

According to Wikpedia, the Cass Scenic has the largest surviving Shay.
