Just found this cool video by accident. Never heard of this, but cool seeing 3 units going through Saranac. Looks like 24 is the second one in the consist.
What a long train, so hard to fathom now on the GRE. Did this train end when the tracks came up?

This train ended when the tracks came up. So did every other train.

I've seen this video before the surprising thing is the speed at which the train is traveling. Tracks would still be there if Bumper hadn't changed over to trucks.
Re: Ionia Fair Train
Nope, it kept on rolling even a couple years after the tracks came up. They had an off-road kit for it.MQT1223 wrote:Did this train end when the tracks came up?

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

I think what he's asking is did the train run up to the time the track were pulled up or did it stop running before that.

James, of Y106 fame, and I either took it up to the GRE or did we bring it back? Some time ago,,,brain waves are fuzzy and it was around 1AM when we did it. Heck maybe both ways...
Just one of the fun...yet probably not appreciated at the time, moves we did during our careers.
