Ralph Emmons and Linda Dagenhardt will be the guest speakers at a public awareness event designed to discuss the future of the Milford RR Depot 3-5 p.m., Nov. 12, at the Milford Library.
The presentation will discuss the history and future of the depot, to be restored and preserved as a museum and event center. The group trying to move the depot is seeking donations to get the project done.
The event is sponsored by The Milford Historical Society & Save the Milford RR Depot.

Depot fundraiser
Opening day of the 2017 season at the Chi-Town Union Station and West Oakland RR Museum could be a boon to the group raising money to move the Milford RR Depot.
Proceeds from that day — 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Nov. 4 — are being donated to the Milford Historical Museum Save the Milford Railroad Depot. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children 5-17 (children younger than 5 are free).
Chi-Town Union Station and West Oakland RR Museum is located at 8275 Cooley Lake Road in Union Lake.
