Ford had 2 boxcab electric locomotives to service the Rouge Plant; however information about these are very sparse. I've found a few things on the internet (most of which I'll have to link when I get home) The catenary supports, are very distinctive concrete structures which can still be seen along some of the line. I'm hoping to model some of this all for Trainz, the computer game. It's going fine for the catenary supports, and I can kind-of figure out how the wires hung; however I have only been able to find 3 not-so-great photos of the locomotives.
Does anyone know of or have any information, mainly drawings & photos, which would be helpful in building these? Or know where to look/ask?
Here is a render of the catenary system so far (a few hours worth of work):
Thanks!
Peter

Resources I currently have found for the locomotive:

I found a 3rd image online once, but can no longer find it.

TRAINA had a pretty deep article about the Ford period of the DT&I once. Check with Kalmbach for repros. They do it as a business and not a spare-time thing, so you'll get results right away.
