1990 Train Videos

Unread post by Dan Cluley »

Last weeks video is mostly Conrail & GTW (a little CSX) around Lansing in April 1990.

This week we have a short one from Durand. May 5 1990 was the Saturday of Railroad Days, so in addition to the usual freights (including 3 different South Shore Geeps) there is also a passenger excursion on the TSBY and lots of foamers. :)

Thanks. :)

It's funny, they ran the fewest trains, but between the predictable schedule, lots of scanner chatter & slower track speeds, they were probably the easiest to shoot.

Lansing area trains from May of 1990. This one is almost all Conrail & Grand Trunk, including several shots of GTW work equipment.

This one is all Conrail. On May 24 1990, we chased LAEL South from Lansing to Jackson, and then the CR powered Ringling Brothers Circus train back North, along with the Lansing local and INLA.

Finally, a short look at PM 1225 running between Owosso & St Charles on the old NYC line in June 1990.
