BNSF Swoosh SD60M Renumbering

Unread post by Matt Short Line H »

Does anybody know any information on the Swoosh SD60M's renumbering's? I have noted that 8146 has been renumbered to 1426 and 8199 has been renumbered to 1476. Any information is welcome, Thanks, Matt

I've also seen pictures of a few that have been equipped with remote control for switching and humping operations.

Never thought I would actually see the day when an SD60M would be considered a switcher or hump yard power.... But I am sure somebody said that 30 years ago about SD40-2's
