Yes---about 20 years ago, at Oakwood Yard, Melvindale Mich. The company I was working for was on strike at that time, and N&W was still running the steam excursions. Took a day off from walking the picket line, went down there on a whim, and got real lucky---an SD40, an M636, and 1218--all posed just as they were captured on film. Once in a while----you just get really lucky! I'm Scott's dad---and he has seen some stuff that will not and cannot be duplicated again, so the apple does not fall far from the tree.

My archives show the steamer being NW 1218, a type A
2-6-6-4. And the 4704 being an M636.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...
