Chicago Commissary Co

I am looking for any information concerning the Chicago Commissary Co (circa 1900) It was a company started by my grandfather (PATRICK HENRY BUTLER). He was born in Ludington, Michigan (1871). He worked for the railroad following school until creating a company that provided food for the railroad yard workers all over the Midwest up until 1930. He became a millionaire so the Chicago Commissary Co must have been a well known entity in railroads circles in its day.

I would appreciate any suggestions on how I could obtain information on the Chicago Commissary Co.
