Buchanan History Yes or No

Is there anyone out there that might know anything about a very old line that ran from Buchanan along the river to St. Joseph. I did find one that was planned but never build, Buchanan & St. Joseph River Railroad (NYC).
A great photographer can make a great photo out of any kind of light from any angle at any time, life is not a studio! There is no such thing as bad light.
