He has a lot of 1990s-era footage from West Michigan. Including CP ALCo & MLW power.

Couple things...
1. Herbie is yardmaster...how long has that guy been around...lol
2. What year did the yarding signal get removed on the west end? How did it work?
3. What were the responsibilities of the plaster creek operator after ctc was switched to Jacksonville?

Answers:
1.Herb has been there a long time. Since TM Scofield kicked him out of his office and said...go take the darn physical so I can get you out of my office!
2. I thinking those masts where there until the last 90's at least.
3. After the dispatchers where sent to J-ville Plaster Creek tower became redundant. Just like Pleasant St.

JG - Plaster Creek wasn't closed until 6/90 IIRC
The yarding signal a the west end shows up on my beaver maps from 1995.
Herbie was land locked for pissing of some of the guys out of willard (or that's what the gossip mill says).

I think Plaster Creek closed in May 1991.

Herbie was able to leave the tower and GR but at his own risk
