What is the factory / complex north east of Zug Island?

More so, what is that circle structure in the area?

I think that is a DTE coal pile for their Rouge plant
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Detroit Edison is way south of there, in River Rouge. If anything it would be coke for the steel mills.

I blew the photo up 600% and I'd guess a clarifier tank for some type of wastewater treatment. Strictly a guess since I'm from GR and wasn't born when the photo was taken :lol:

You are looking at Fort Wayne. It was built in 1843 and closed in May of 1949. It now belongs to the City of Detroit and has been restored. You can see it on current satellite images.

Fort Wayne is too far north of the area in question.
south of fort Wayne, east of Jefferson and north of Zug Island

I believe it's the Detroit Coke Corp. that is in the picture. The round structure in the picture looks like the coal storage/ reclaim area for the plant.
