THE ROCK

Awhile back, (I thnk a bout the time of the hacker), we were having a discusson of our model railroads. My origonal first layout I was going to build, was based on the fact that the Rock Island continued to exist, and started purchasing, little used lines, in WI, MI, OH, PA, IN, and IL. Some where around here in the junk I have kept, is a fold out railroad map, that in colord pencil, I drew the system map. In fact I even went to design a locomotive roster, and numbering sequence based on HP. of the locos. Besides the ones seen here, I also had painted C430's, RS-2's, a SD60, Pasenger special E9's, a GP50, GP38-2 (with dynamics), even started on a CW40-8, and a few freight cars. Here are the photos, of the SD9, and two C40-8's, one in OL. The paint jobs on these, are a little rough, as these were the first thing I had ever painted, and that was about 10 years ago.
