Well, I got a couple things to assist me in model railroading:

A soldering iron
A hobby knife set

And that's about it.

Yea Zack I think I will be happy with it. More of what I was looking for in a camera. Will see how night shots work. I envy most of your guys night shots. Hopefully this will improve those for me.

heck, i've never even used a real tripod for any of mine.. just put it either on the ground or on a post or something, then cropping it and rotating it if the object i set it on wasn't level. I do enjoy the night shots quite a bit..i imagine i should get out this week to do some railfanning at night..fiance is gone in muskegon for the week so I'm more free to head out :)

X-mas gifts:
Yaesu VX-170
Webcam to talk to parents in S.C.
DVD burner for computer
new coat
metal toolkit
C&O Chessie 2006 calendar, tree ornament, book about Chessie
Toy steam engine ornament
Wireless weather station
Toaster/Convection oven
Still have things in a stocking i can't open yet till the woman is back

Buying a new magnet mount, diamond 40" or so antenna and adapters still for the new radio.

Haven't posted here or even checked the boards here for a while, but thought I might as well chip in with what I got:
-Samsung Digimax A400 Digital Camera (from my parents, my main requirement was that it not feature a video function- I wanted it so that I could get shots that are better than single video frames, as are the shots I get off my video camera)
-Hard Drive (ok, actually I have to order the thing, but I should have about 300 gigs in my desktop computer real soon- which will be nice for the video stuff I like to do)
