Traininitis

Unread post by TrainNut85 »

Do you have traininitis?

Symptoms include:
1. Ears are acting as radar for train horns.
2. Constant eagerness to catch any train.
3. Camera goes wherever you go.
4. Trains Magazine and other related ones are basically your reading material.
5. You dream about trains in your sleep.
6. You designate every locomotive on every train.
7. Any type of excursion train you hear about you end up chasing it.
8. You watch Polar Express so many times cause the 1225's sound fx is in it.
9. Your video collection is nothing but trains.
10. Your hats are all railroad hats.

Relief of these symptoms are as followed:
1. Get out and chase a train!
2. "Durand is sure a nice place!"
3. One state for good train action: Ohio!
4. A once in a while visit to SRI.
5. The new issue of Trains is out!
6. Microsoft Train Simulator!!!!

So anyone has these symptoms? lol

I'd say I'm afflicted. Now if I could get a doctors note for the next two weeks off work so I can hang out someplace along the tracks.

Not sure if I can say the dreams are ABOUT trains, but they certainly show up IN my dreams...at least 4-5 times a month for as long as I can remember.

Don't think your man isn't suffering from several of these symptoms!

You'll get used to it after a while. It took my girlfiend about 4 years, but she's finally "accepted" it.

Well its that time of year, some new symptoms have came out in recent cases:

1. Standing outdoors in cold and snowy weather
2. the "Durand Syndrome"
3. ears stuck to a scanner
4. feelings at certain times to go out and catch trains
5. looking over recent shots of trains over and over again
6. planning your future model railroad layout

Hopefully I don't see any cases worse than this, but if there is, submit your symptom.
