Sorry country boy :P , but this city boy HATES having a dirty car. My dad's a car nut, and I was always raised that when you can, keep your car clean. Obviously in the winter it's tough, and it does get dirty railfanning, but I try.

I'd still rather look like this:
Both of these were yesterday in Ann Arbor.

But I do clean it on the weekends, if I did not have it Zee-Barted I wouldn't even drive it in the winter or the mud.

See the black stuff on the rear fender, thats the Zee-Bart coating, really cool stuff.

Looks like you got Toyo Open Country Tires, if so, why have Off Road Tires if your not going to use them, you would have been fine with the regular M+S tires

Did I ever say I never go off-roading? No. About 4 times a year we take all the Hummers up to the Silver Lake dunes and have some real fun. There's also a guy up in Newaygo that owns a bunch of land who invites us up to go boonying regularly. Ever get an H1 stuck in 3 feet of muck, then get pulled out by a front end loader? Not to mention all the off roading that railfanning involves.

They're not Toyo's, they're 33'' Bridgestone LT285/75R16C on road/off road tires. I ordered those because they look funny with the smaller standard wheels. Can you blame me?

Jon, I've been to four county fairs and a pig roast, and I've never heard the term "boonying" before.

I've heard: Muddin' Boggin', Swamp draggin', Off Roadin', Wheelin' in the Mud, but never bonnying. I assume you were talking about going out to the Bondocks and having a good time in the dirt correct?

Correct. We've always called it boonying. Boonying, off roadin' whatever, all involve dirt. :P
