Had the double infusion day of my last (hopefully) cycle today.

Five and a half hours of an infusion pump forcing fluid into my jugular vein.

Three hours on Gemzar next Tuesday and then the "runout" for several weeks.

No one answered my question about hair growing back :(

I asked my wife about the hair (she is a hair stylist that has worked with alot of cancer patients). She says that everybody is different. Some people get all their hair back like nothing ever happened. Some peopl never grow hair back. Some get thicker or thinner hair back. Some get curly hair where it used to be straight and vise versa. Some peoples hair color changes. Sounds like alot of it has to do with genetics and the severity of treatment.

One other note, a friend of mine had a severe case of lung cancer and they gave him 6-9 months. That was 2 years ago. He has been cancer free for a year. He did his research on everything that the doctors said, didn't rush into any treatment without knowing what it was and getting second and third opinions, and stayed healthy the best he could.

Remember that we tend to hear more about the bad than the good (media should confirm that). For every failed attempt there are many success stories.
Good luck

Last scheduled infusion completed Tuesday. (Two days ago.)

Now, just survive until the poison passes through.

CT scan will be Oct.28.

Drove back south starting the 16th. Arrived 10/19 sick. Still am.

Had the CT 10/28 to find out if all of this has done any good.

Will meet with oncologist 11/5. Holding my breath.

Met with oncologist today.

CT scan didn't find any cancer anywhere.

Drill now is to retest every six months.

I may actually live through this crap.

I haven't been fishing for a while. Time to go. 8)

Big thumbs up here. Go out and catch some big ones. Catch one for me too. I think I only went fishing twice this year. :(
Did not use the boat much. Usually average 300 gal of gas a year. Less than 80 this year.
